DXMG Vs. DKMG

I have a DXMG that now has been modded with a OFR, EMG 81/85,and i took a little off the neck depth.
all i can say that after these mods it is PERFECT! EVEN before the mods it was a great axe but i just prefered the active EMG's and a real floyd and
i prefer the sharkies to the pirahna inlays and the flat top to the arch top
as of a few months ago the DKMG's now have a 81 and a 85 stock inplace of the HZ'3 's and a slightly improved trem from what i hear so that one stock may be the better deal now?
I still would prefer to buy a used DXMG and do the mods myself
i paid $250 for a near mint used DXMG and bought a OFR for $170 and the set of EMG's used cost me $100 so for a total of $520 i wound up with a killer DXMG!

Not so - while being the only exception is the MG series, the 2006 DXMG apparently still has the HZ's and the old trem.

Guys, please fill me in here regarding EMG and the 2006 DKMG. I guess I haven't paid attention.
I see a lot of DKMG's with EMG-HZ pups, yet the 2006 catalog have them listed with EMG81/85's..... so:

DKMG prior to 2006 = EMG-HZ
DKMG 2006 and on = EMG81/85

True?

hey, got a question about this.
is the DKMG only available with reverse headstock?
I'm right now looking for a neck for a kelly project I'm doing. I really dig the piranhia-inlays, but they are hard to be found and most likely all reverse headstock.
now I want to ask; does the neck I'm browsing ebay for exist at all?

the neck on my ps-7 is uber thin, thinner than the new compound radii necks. but then it is from '98
