OK, here's the deal. This one guy on one forum claims that he has 1995 RR3. So I went to check the catalogs and found out that the RR3s were first introduced in 1996 and with reversed sharkfins. This is a pic of his guitar:

He says that he bought it new then and still has all the papers that prove it was indeed bought in 1995 aswell as the carboard box with the date of delivery on it! Serial is: 95100478. Pickups are Duncan Designed (Jackson started using DDs in 96 according to the specs list on Hernik's site!). Hardware is titanium coated. Everything on the guitar is original. What model could it be? Could it be some kind of special run?

I'm not buying this guitar or anything, I would just like to help him find out what model he has.

    Got a red X

    It's probably a '96 that got produced & sold in late 1995.

that bed spread/table cloth/whatever doesn't help marketing the guitar either.

Its just a regular RR3. They also had an RR3R which had a reverse headstock and sharkies. Nothing rare or out of the ordinary.

Yep, regular RR3. Some came with reverse inlays, some didn't.

Yes, looks so. But the first two years (96&97) of RR3 and RR3R had both reversed inlays but this one has normal inlays.

I guess the straycat is right.

I'm guessing it's some sort of utterly gross poster/hanging quilt. Talk about bad fruity taste.
