  • For the love of god bring in a 24 fret RR. I would buy one for sure. That is a huge gap in the market.
Also a pro series KV is needed.
I love the new Maple necks. With the huge popularity in these I think we can expect more options on other models too. Make it so!
Also more Rev headstocks. There are not enough of these.

    • Put the strap button (the one thats on the tail), higher up on the KE3, so it matches with the KE2.

      • I would like to see a KE5 (neckthrough and string through) as there is a spot for that
        24 fret RR5
        KV5 (same as above)
the SL3 and RR5s are killer guitars for the money
so the KV, KE need to have counterparts for that line
and the Warrior too ( i always forget that one)

I think if we could get a neck through down in the price range of a Schecter, it would be huge....
The schecters move really good in my store, so imagine what a jackson in the same design range "neckthrough, string through, DD pups" all in the MAP range of 600 bux would do.... (obviosly a Japanese made model with the Jackson name on it would be worth a premium) but at this point there is not much to compete with Schecter in that price range in Neckthrough, and NOBODY does neckthrough like Jackson, NOBODY.
The DK2 SLAYS... but there are some of us that prefer the NT (im one of them) so a SL with lower end electronics and Tunomatic would FN rawk!
The SL3 is perfect, but maybe one model with the same body but with above features would fit right in with the RR5, a KE5, a KV3 or a WR3.
HOLY CRAP they would FLY off the racks

        • Binding on the whole Pro series. (it's done on the MG series...so why not)

          A KV pro model

A KEMG model. (basically a KE3 with a DXMG neck and EMGs....I've seen this done and it kicks ass. Oh yeah, I have one...lol)

While the upgraded JT580 is an "OK" trem, reviving the JT590 Schaller would be worlds better as far as stability, response and is an all round tighter machined unit.

The pickup selections for all the lines are perfect, don't change a thing there.

The only electronics upgrade I'd do (this is a pet peeve of mine since I've had to replace these on all my and my other guitarist's imports) is put a better quality 3 way toggle switch. The ones in my RR5 and KE3 were loose feeling and didn't switch correctly. I'd get bad switches from pickup to pickup, sometimes the neck pickup wouldn't engage, and sometimes it would stay on while in the bridge position.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

          • how about re-designing the jackson hard cases so that they're lighter but still protect the guitar? the carry handle could also be placed closer to the centre (how often do you smack the nose on the pavement?) for better balance.

            • +1 for the KV Pro/KV5. A KV with neck-thru and a fixed bridge of whatever type would be great.

              • Here are my suggestions;

1-) In my country the most popular guitar brands are Jackson and a very well known brand (that we like soo much ) famous with it's lisenced floyds. And many people prefer that brand's guitars to "import" jacksons on the same budget only because of their floyds. So OFR on the pro series would increase the sale numbers a lot imo.

2-)From what I can see, the Dk2m is the most selling 2006 import so same neck on other body styles would be great!

3-)1 hum guitar. It can be anything I guess, but combining the "24 fret rr" demand with this one can be a good idea, I hum rr with both maple and rosewood or maybe ebony board options!

4-)From what I've read here using MOP instead of MOTO will not increase the cost much, so that will be a big improvement also.

5-)People usually want to have their favourite pick-up stock on their guitar. And while some people really like the jb (like me) some don't. So maybe producing the same model with 2 different pickup options can give good results. Duncan custom or duncan distortion will be a good alternative for the jb imo.

                    • do what the jackson stars do and make each model available with floyds or string thru, duncans or emgs. not sure how that would affect pricing though.
