Ok, I guess I should reveal the sinister motives behind this thread:

It seems like there was a lot of interest in this guitar:

But with a regular headstock, plain paint (maybe in bright 80s colors) and a more reasonable price.

And even before this guitar came out, I saw people mentioning an import 1 pickup dinky with maple similar to the LE one you guys created before.

So if they decide to add one to the import line up I would prefer an OFR style trem and routing (like on my 06 DXMG) and I think the people have spoken!!! haha

Do you think I should start another thread to guage interest in this guitar that Dreamland_Rebel aptly called a hot rod:

So jcmktgguy could see the suggestions for this one guitar in one place???

    Thanks

I really like the Edge Pro, tuners are nicely tucked out of the way. I can live with the OFR, but if the Edge Pro or something like that was available on Soloists I would choose that over the OFR.

Well I just played a DK2M for the first time today and it confirmed it for me - Low Profile! I just don't understand why you would prefer having the fine tuners all up in your business instead of out of the way? To each his own....

BTW - I have two Wolfies and think the FR-lic. trem on them is great! Stays in tune and the tuners are moved back.

I don't understand how you'd be able to even hit the fine tuners on an OFR. Do you really play with your hand that far back for it to be an issue??

I will occationally hit the fine tuners on mine, but that is during some severe flailing. Now that damn volume knob on the other hand...

LOL I remember George Lynch back in the day saying he put tape on his fine tuners so he wouldn't move them while playing. He must have been doing some severe flailing, too!
