New to me DK2FS guitar porn

I recently picked this up last week on eBay for $240 shipped. I initially bought it to flip it. When it arrived I took it apart, and cleaned it up.

Next thing I know the wife ( The one who normally says you can only play one guitar at a time, so why do you need three? ) told me that she thought it was a cool guitar, and I should keep it. So, I go ahead and put new strings on it, and set it up. Looks like I'll be hanging onto this one for a while.

I like the Firestorm boost, really reminds me a lot of my Fusion. I'm wondering if the Firestorm boost is based off of the active circuitry that the Fusions had?
