    Now we know why it's a best-seller!

I sort of wish they'd do a Satin Black version, as I really like the Trans Black but would like something a little different. If I were to buy another, that is.

Judging by your stage gear/clothes, you'd disappear!

imho, the dk2m pisses all over the rr3. my only problem would be choosing the body's finish - snow white or black.

I'll go ahead and agree with everyone here and say DK2M over the RR3.
I don't find the RR shape to be terribly comfortable (it does look pretty damn cool though). The DK2M is straight-up sexy, and the DK body is compact and comfortable to play standing or sitting in any position. Plus I have a personal bias toward maple fretboards (as many others here seem to as well).

As far as quality goes, nothing to worry about with either one
Either way, good luck and enjoy your new Jackson when you get it!!

I just got the first DK2M in for my store yesterday. I spent a good bit of time with it today...
I dont really care for the JB in the bridge position, but the neck pup.. WOW...the Jazz sounds frigging great. as in very suprising how good it sounds. and the neck is fantastic...

I am super impressed with this guitar

man - so much love for the DK2M! That's gotta tell you something. I hope Jackson is paying attention to the response this guitar is getting.

FWIW I'm still really enjoying the JB in the bridge of this guitar, and I'm a die-hard DiMarzio guy. It probably doesn't work in all amps, though (the JB) - in a Marshall or Marshall-inspired amp it's tits.

I plan my wardrobe around the guitar finish. Besides, I'm so pale, I almost glow in the dark!

I tried out the DK2M at GC last night (through a Marshall TSL combo) and I have to bump it up to a +105. I definitely know what my next guitar will be (Unless they come out with a KVXM.

And the DK2M is 100 bucks less! Hopefully, the Jackson guys are paying attention to how popular these are and apply the concept (maple neck, black sharks, binding) to other models - like a RR3M.

                            You'd think that'd be a no-brainer.

Well... go to a buddy and use his camera... or let him come over.
                                That's what I always do, because I don't have a camera either.

                                Remember, pics are MANDATORY!!!
