    It could be a Musician's Friend exclusive model. They had a JD-R and JD-R Pro in the mid/late `90s, and I think the Pro had sharkfins.

      Those were H/S/S with a five-way blade selector that was moved up closer to the bridge pup more like an Ibanez. I've got one of those bodies waiting to be refinned.
