From what I gather, the difference between the USA and the import is that the import is made of wood and the USA model is made of "Aircraft Aluminum".
Is that correct?

Yes, though there have been a few Custom Shop runs that were wood, but you'll know them when you see them

All the Black and Blue Sparkle Roswells were made in Japan. All Roswells are bolt-on (except the Custom Shop wood runs).

Imports fluctuate in price. I've seen them go as high as $1000 in heavy bidding on Ebay. I can't recall what I paid for the one I had - $650? Sold it for about $700 I think.

Both USA and import were bolt ons.
The US one was limited to approx 130 ex.
I believe the import model sells for about 600-700 US$ on eBay.

If you like it, I think so.
I doubt you´ll findt it any cheaper other places and the fact that it´s in Europe saves you a lot in shipping.
