I've been refinishing a number of guitars. One of them is this Jackson Kelly. I don't remember what model, but it's one of the lower end imports. One thing that was really disappointing was the discovery that the front and back of the guitar have about 1/8 inch pieces of masonite glued to it. Disgusting. Anyway, I used three diffent types of veneer on the front and back. I haven't fully decided yet, but I think it will either be stained in cranberry with the edges airbrushed black. I might also go with a vintage sunburst. Not sure.
