who here has RRs

The reason I ask is because I just got a RR5 for the store, and I was really surprised by the neck. Everyone had always said the RR had a big ole neck.

This one is not huge, its quite small... and very comfortable.

Does anyone here have the RR5 and a RR1 so they could compare them for me? I may think about adding to the stable, as this the only jackson model i dont have....

I just sold my RR5 and I don't have a RR1, but Jackson's website lists them as the same neck dimensions.

I have an RR1 and an RR Std. The necks are pretty much the same, and are not beefy at all.

I have heard that the early RR Customs had fat necks though...

I have both, the RR1 does feel a "bit" and I mean a BIT fatter..can hardly tell. I have no problem switching between them when playing.

the RR3's neck is a little fatter than my DX10's neck...not that its uncomfortably fat, just a little more meat around the back. not sure about the RR5 and 1 though.

And I can`t really say cause it is long
back I`ve had the RR5 in the hand...
But compared to the RR1 I must say
that the neck in my opinion and in my feeling
of playing them, the neck is the same..
So I think there is no difference...
But if it is so then is it a really small one

I have tried two RR5 at a local store. They felt just like the neck of my Jackson Stars Rhoads... quite thin and very comfortable.

Thats quite enough of that, I dont really feel a difference at all but thats just me.
