      Um..... Nice first post?????

You have a what???? RR1 Professional....hmmmmm that must be rare since I've never heard of that model. RR Pro, RR3 Pro Series, RR5 Pro Series.

I see that as a spam post if you ask me. Did you read the rules??

If I were an admin, I'd say.....

First, read the rules, then do some research on exactly what you have.

      Alright, I'm done.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

I was joking. New members are not allowed to solicit deals here. We have a classifieds section that you will be able to access in due time. Poke around, get to know the regulars and contribute to the forum for a while.

No you won't. Read the rules, Torren. Best advice i've given all day.

Against my usual thinking, I'm gonna help you out here. You know what you have, no doubt. Do you know what it's actually called. No. RR1 ia a USA model, actually still the current one. What you have is a Rhoads Pro, really nice Jap model. There is no and never has been a RR1 professional. If you do a search here there is a link to a members website that gives a complete comparison of the 2. It's really informative and pretty damn cool. However, whereas your guitar is a very nice model, it is in no way a fair trade for a USA KV2. You'd probably even have to trade it plus add some cash if you could find someone willing to trade a KV Pro (same series as your RR) for it.

Dude, read the rules. You need to be here for a while, contribute and have at least a certain post count (listed in the rules as well) to be able to use the classifieds. Now, welcome, look around, learn a little fun info on the greatest guitars ever and try to follow the guidelines given by our admins.

That's an excellent writeup by Jackson1. I read that the other day when I found it linked from another thread. Amazing detail and great info overall. Many thanks to him for the info. After reading it, I was thinking "damn I didn't do too bad buying this King V Pro after all!!" I also dig what he did with that Fernandes V. Very very cool stuff guys!

Thanks adoxtater and I'm sorry your thread has gotten totally derailed

I put a new piece up on the site, trying to explain the confusion on the name "Professional" and "Pro".
You guys might wanna read - it's nothing revolutionary but at least there's a nice spreadsheet there with almost all the Professional guitars from 1990 thru 1995:

                                .
