Sweet 1990 Warrior Pro in Ferarri Red (looks a shade darker than Big Red):
Pickups are Custom Shop Duncans I ordered: DistortionJr in Bridge1 (closest to bridge), CustomJr in Bridge2, and JazzJr in the neck.
Wired with a Jackson Special 5-Way switch for:
B1
B1 split + B2 split
B2
NK split
NK
Right now only the Volume knob is wired, but I'll put a Tone knob in it (soon as I find those caps I ordered months ago )
Haven't decided on what to do with the mini-toggle. Might make it a bypass/kill like on the Killer, or a split for B1 and seperate the B1+B2 connection from the 5-way.
The pickup spec sheets on the boxes read:
DistortionJr: 16.2K DC - 23 Gauss (whatever Gauss is)
CustomJr: 17.4K DC - 15 Gauss
JazzJr: 11.1K DC - 15 Gauss
I guess they thought I was going to put these in a Strat, because they sent me Strat-type mounting screws instead of direct-mount (pointed) wood screws. Luckily I had some that would work
And the stickers on the bottom of the pickups say Bridge, Middle, and Neck, even though when they called me for verification I told them both the Custom and Distortion were going in Bridge positions (I even sent a pic of a 1990 Warrior pickup layout to show them how it would look).
Ah well, they work, and they sound great, that's all that matters.
