  • PC3 country of origin?

Greetings! It's my first post here. I recently became the owner of my first Jackson, a Custom Shop PC2. A superb guitar!

I'm so impressed with it in fact that I'm debating picking up a PC3 I found for sale. I know the PC3 is an import. Does anyone know if it's made in Japan, or is it more likely imported from Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia...?

I've got a couple of extra S.Duncan pickups laying around without a home, so I could upgrade the Duncan Designed pickups in the PC3 and have a great axe for gigs.

Anyone know where the PC3 is made?

You want to be really impressed... pick up a PC1.
But yea... PC3 was made in Japan. Nice guitars too, but a bit lighter than their US counterparts and the neck profile is thinner.

rjohnstone isthe PC expert, at least to me.

And +1 on the PC1. It is an incredible guitar. But a tad on the heavy side, if that concerns you. But tone-wise.... wow.

But the PC3 will not let you down either. Good thought on swapping out the pickups. The Duncan Designeds are all right, but better pups would really wake the guitar up.

And I totally dig your user name. Haven't heard a good B5 reference in a long time.
