Don't dismiss a Japanese Jackson. I know the USA's are nicer but the Jap models I've had played great. Alot of the newer models come with good pickups from the factory. I just sold my Mexican strat because it was not getting any play time, I just prefer the feel and playability of my Jackson's. Just my .o2 worth, mileage may vary.
