Neck shape /model 4?

I have an 87 or 88 (JT6, fin inlays) model 4 and the neck is perfect!! (IMO) I know the 86's had a Kahler and dot inlays, but was the neck the same? I want more 4s and like the idea of having one with a Kahler, but Im not going to get one if the neck isnt the same or very close.
