  • Anything New for 2007?

So, does anyone know of any big additions, changes, or modifications to the Imported lines? I'm looking at RR3's and I'm wondering if I should hold off for a little while to see what comes out.

You should at least wait two weeks until NAMM. You'll know for certain then.

          I've been hoping for a neck-thru RR24 for the last 9 NAMMs...

It'll probably be quite a while after NAMM that I get it, I just didn't know if I should look for anything speical yet.

Neck through COW 7 with bound neck ?

I'd put a floyd there on my own

I am surprised there are no hints as to what to expect even only a couple of weeks away from NAMM. No insiders on here? I was hoping more maple, but that might be a little too optimistic.

Yup , Strange to mee aswell.

In most cases you'd at least know what to expect (Dean with Cooley Sig/Batio Sig , Schecter Loomis , even last Namm we knew a Morton sig would come in)

Now recently Vegethapuppet created a thread posting a silverburst COW but that's all we know for now.

And NAMM is in what ? two weeks ?

Let me rephrase that...binding on the SL3, PLEASE...

Seriously, a neck-through guitar with quality pups and trem, but no binding, is just incomprehensible to me. People might buy it every now and then, but I'll bet they'd all strongly prefer binding, and I'd also wager that it would outsell the DK2 at about twice the price if it only had this simple feature.

                          +1

Same on other Pro level neck through guitars like the rr5.

The lack of binding is really hurting their sales (IMO)

and bring that rr24 NTB finally.

+1 for neck binding for all the Pro series funny shapes (Kelly, RR, etc)... It irks me so much I think I'm gonna get a DK2M style neck made for my EDS Kelly when I can afford it. Oh yeah!
