Ok dont laugh. I was an idiot yesterday, and decided to adjust my action with a pair of Sears Robo grip and even with a cloth to protect the finish on the guitar they shredded the paint off the piece on the bridge. Being the perfectionist I am, I cant stand to look at it. So will a Gibson TOM work on it? Also, on a side note, is it me or does the black paint wear off really fast on import Jackson parts? My strap screws and the area aroudn them on the button are all worn and looks like crap.
