I own a Jackson Stars soloist, a couple of Grover Jackson soloists, a USA Jackson Dinky, and a MIJ Jackson DK2M.
The USA Dinky has the thinnest neck profile, then the Grover Jacksons, followed by the DK2M. The Jackson Stars soloist has the chunkiest neck, but they all play great
What country do you live in that you own Jackson Stars? I'm in the Land of the Rising Sun myself.Until you get weaned off the boobie, you are going to have to do what the wife wants too. -Rsmacker

Welcome to the board!
I own a transgreen semi-custom RRJ1B, there are pics and a review in this thread:
I'd say it is equally as nice as my '90 Soloist Archtop Pro and my COW DK6, which are both splendid guitars.
Though my other import Jacksons are very nicely built and good-sounding too, they don't have the high-end features like ebony boards and MOP inlays.
So the advantages of the Jackson Stars for me are mostly the features you can't get in the standard Jackson line, and of course the great semi-custom option!
What guitars do you have? Post pics please!!!

2 JacksonStars NASLs here - an older 160 in Cherry SunBurst and a J2E in Black. I changed the EMGs and black hardware for gold covered Duncans and gold hardware - looks much better now.
The 160 is my favorite guitar. I put a Roland GK-3 driver on it, and as soon as the weather warms up, I'm going to mod the pickup cavities to accept the Duncan Lil/Jr format pickups.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
