Hi All,
I jsut got some good quality oil that I have used on rosewood and ebony fretboards with good results, so I want to see if I can use it for other purposes. (this is what I am using http://www.beafifer.com/boredoctor.htm)
The DK2LE neck and fretboard both seem to be unfinished, is that correct? If they are unfinished, then I'll try the oil on them, but if they are finished, then I'll leave them as they are.
I also have another guitar that the previous owner had sanded down and left the neck in a "raw" state... it feels very comfortable and smooth... would oiling the unfinished neck make it even faster? Would oiling the neck make it less stable? (the neck has a skunk stripe of what I presume to be walnut)
