DK2M Red Ghost Flames now $599!

There are currently no blemished versions of this product in stock.

I logged on this afternoon, said in stock, so I grabbed it. Now it says "no blemished in stock". I figure they are getting them back from the people that complain they don't match the picture, so they might be trickling in and you need to check every once in a while.

For that price, I figure I'll rout and add a single at the neck.

The one I sent back, the neck was sitting slanted in the pocket. It was normal on the low E but high E was higher by about 3mm's. It wasn't the pocket either. It was like the neck was made that way to compensate for a warped neck or something. Very strange to me.

They have a return thing if you don't like it, so I thought I'd take a chance.

Well, it turns out the MF website is refreshed every 15 minutes, so the 'in stock' I saw had already been purchased by someone else, so they refunded the money back to my credit card...

Well, I just looked and it said in stock, so I bought one. We will see if it happens or not. I used paypal too.

My order went through, (they charged me for it) and its still showing as "in stock". Is the trem on this the newer improved one or is the same lopro deal like the old dk2 had.

They charged me for mine too, then reversed the paypal the next day. What kinda pissed me off when I talked to MF was that they never contacted me to give me the option of 'holding the $ and order until another came in', also I received no notice from MF, just a notice from paypal that the funds were reversed back to my card.

The guy said I could log on periodically and if it shows in stock, try again. I note as of my writing this that it shows in stock now too. So within a few hours of them cancelling and reversing my order, another came in that you bought, and supposedly more came in so it still says in stock now.

I wouldn't have minded them holding my order and waiting for a day 'till another arrived, but right now after all this, I don't think I'll bother 'testing the system' and trying to purchase another. Maybe I'll call them and rant, that will make me feel better!

Well, I just 're-freshed' the MF page, and now no longer in stock...

Maybe they were suprised at the demand at $599 and thought they could sell them some at $799, I don't know maybe because it's not a regular model they don't have to keep it at a certain price, $599 is a good deal I think, even though that's what the DK2ms with 2 pickups are going for.

A co-worker just got his $458 blem in....it is brand new looking, no blems found. It showed 'in-stock' for blems again, so I rolled the dice one more time and we'll see if they complete my order this time.

Wow, I just checkes MF and the blems are now $611.99. Guess I got a bargain. Then again, I thought that the 357 deal was gonna be a bargain too.
