I read your web page, Loftus is my favorite DJ of all time.
Did you ever get to see Holland with Batio?
I was the guitar player in Scott Loftus' band "the Inmates" I'm the one that plays "Backstage Bimbos". And I'm good friends with Michael Angelo Batio. I'll put that song up on my web site as a podcast..and maybe my myspace page as well.

The Big Difference is in the pickup configuration. The 2 single coils helps to get a more "out of Phase" sound, useful for funk & r&b. I use my DK2's for that purpose. The DK2M's are for the heavy rock stuff where I need that push.My DK2's are prior to the Fender Buyout. Mine both have the "Duncan Designed" pickups in them. But still have the same sound as in the new ones with Seymores in them.

Also important to note that the pro series gutiars ahve an upgraded trem with hardened knife edges, also the SD's would sound a fair bit different to the duncan designed...

and yeah H-s-s would sould a lot different to H-H the humbuckers would have more oomph while the singles give you more versatillity....

Did PIKA ever get pics of his new one?

Aerostar, I'd like to see a pic of the rack with all those DK2Ms in it. That would look cool. Do you modify them at all (e.g., add an OFR, swap pickups), or use them as is?
I Keep them all stock. The only change I do to them is put Goody Hair Ties on them as a string mute at the locking nut. I'll take a photo of all of them in front of my 2 Marshall Half Stacks!

I haven't talked to Scott Since 2002 when he was late night weekends at the Loop. I've been searching for him ever since

I talked to Batio last night..he's doing well. I Still can't play like that, but I'm trying. He loves my DK2M's..but he's got that Dean Endorsement, and he gets to travel all over the world doing clinics for them.

Which model has that neck...maple fingerboard with black (or dark) inlays...but a plain bridge (I don't recall if it was a classic trem or a string through body)? Damn nice neck.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
