  • Shipping status on RR24?

Yeah, well, pretty much what the subject line says - does anyone have information on when the general supply of RR24s is going to start shipping? I know the limited eds are out there, but I'm getting white w/ black. I have heard maybe June/July, but there was an "I really don't know" attached to that, too. Thanks for anyone's help, who has a real clue. I appreciate it.

Always the case with new Jacksons. It's April 2007, and some UK retailers are only starting to get hold of 2006 versions. It took at least two months for some USA customers to get their DK2M's. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Thomann (in Germany, so hence no direct use to you) claim they'll have white RR24s on the 16th of April. If that's true, I'm sure somewhere in the States will have them by then. Let's know how you get on with it. I think white's the best looking too!

I'm undecided on this RR24 at the mo. It doesn't have a bound neck and headstock. Those inital "mistakes" as they're referred to have reversed inlays AND binding. If I could have one of THOSE at the same price as the official bindless imports, then I'd be happy. ON the other hand, I'm thinking a RRP of £899 isn't too bad..

Some dealers have the RR24 Limited Edition at the same price as the normal, "non-mistake" RR24s. So yes, you could have one of THOSE at the same price as the official bindless imports.

I know because that's how much I paid for mine

Probably something crazy like MOTO on a $1,750 guitar.

Excuse the stupid question. It just suddenly occured to me that I've never played a 1-hum guitar. Can pinched harmonics still be achieved on a 1-hum guitar? Just thought I'd ask before I burn £900...

you can do pinch harmonics on an acoustic... doesnt matter what kinda of guitar, or what configuration. you can do it on a 1 hum guitar.
