Congrats on the order!! I think we will see more and more of this because of FMIC raising the prices on Jacksons so ridiculously high. Aren`t the mid 80`s JCM 800`s the ones with the 3 Caps instead of 6 like the originals or re-issues? I agree, the re-issues are way overpriced and I want one Jack.

And I was actually thinking a JCM800, I played one at my local Guitar Center, they had a used one, I loved it.
What does that work out to in US $$$, ........also how did you place the order, through a store or direct online??? I really am GASing for a RR single pickup model that doesn't cost an arm and a leg like the "artist" models and those LTD's that cost $1200+. Thanks in advance!! And good luck!Guitars:
Charvel: USA Pro Mod Slime Green
1988 Model 2,
Jackson: Dinky HSS 'Blue/Orange Flame'
RR3
Gibson: 1978 Les Paul Spl Dbl Cut
1992 LP Studio 'Lite'
2005 SG Special

They also knock off a huge chunk of the list price. Mine would have been about 1800US but after I had them change the nut size it still only came out to about 1480 (not exact price but in that range) so.. but mine was a rhoads. the price of the Kelly I am ordering which is full custom is maybe a hundred dollars more.
Depending on who you talk to, they will in fact bend over backwards to answer any questions. So far so good as far as my experience goes.In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

The 7-string custom Kelly I ordered cost about 1650 USD (inc. shipping). It's due in June.
It'll have a fixed bridge, which is what I wanted, but I did get a quote for an FR. It worked out as an expensive option at around 330+ bucks, but that could be because it's a 7.
I hope it doesn't suffer a shipping disaster like Sully's LTD!
The weak Yen / strong Euro is giving me GAS. Those Edwards E-CY-165CTM on ikebe-gakki look mighty tempting!

I'm still thinking what guitar I'll get in the future, because I'll be keeping this Rhoads model for awhile, and I'll probably end up wanting to have another guitar.

I think you'll have to invest in advanced surgery to get more hands to play all those guitars! That said, I'm seriously looking forward to seeing them all. This Jackson Stars thing has been somewhat of a revelation (to me, at least).
