DK2 neck compatible with KE3 Body?

Hey. I've been thinking of buying a KE3 lately. I have a thing for bound necks, I was thinking of getting a DK2 neck on ebay and swapping it for the KE3 neck (which I'd sell on ebay). I'm assuming they are compatible, but I'm not 100% sure. Has anyone done this?
