Well,,, in all of youR "Wisdom" (with age right?) what do you think? It's trans green, maple board, HSC, has emg 85 and SA right now (still have stockers with tap switch). The original owner put sperzels on it (?). It has one finish chip on the top front edge and is ser. #000015. Minimal fret wear. THIS IS NOT A CLASSIFIED SALE BUT A SOLICITATION FOR PRICING ADVICE AMONGST KNOWLEGABLE BRETHREN OF THE JACKSON/CHARVEL FORUM. How's that for a disclaimer?
I got my account locked for a "price advice" thread even though I had a disclaimer. It's best just to not make them. Check eBay, etc. for what past auctions have gone for and you'll get a good idea of the value of something.
I guess I'm in good "old" company here. I'm 44 and still act like I'm in my 20's. At least my 14 yr old son still thinks I'm "cool." I've taken him to a lot of metal concerts that have come through town in the last few years (KISS, Priest, Maiden, Poison, Crue, etc...) I've turned him into a metal head too. Also still love the Jackson/Charvels...got myself a few. My son loves to "borrow" them sometimes too.
Guitars:
Charvel: USA Pro Mod Slime Green
1988 Model 2,
Jackson: Dinky HSS 'Blue/Orange Flame'
RR3
Gibson: 1978 Les Paul Spl Dbl Cut
1992 LP Studio 'Lite'
2005 SG Special
I also had a thread that was deleted and I even stated in the thread that I was not trying to make a sale and that I was just gathering info. Is there another section that I should be using for gathering such info? Im pretty sure that if I was to post that thread in the spam section people would be pissed that I was posting in there without having the guitar for sale. What gives?
JTX with EMG's $300-$400 if in Excellent shape. Getting someone to pay that is another question. That's what it is worth as they are as NEWC said undervalued. These are rare and last I checked, rare usually comes with a premium. The only reason these are undervalued is no one really knows about them. Until I bought mine a year ago I had no idea it even existed.
