Not on MOP. They used Duncan Invaders and Distortions, I believe.

Opps, my mistake! Yeah, they started using EMGs on the MoP tour, didn't they?

Thanks for helping me understand these issues.

On another note, yesterday I got the weird idea to connect the guitar to my home speakers so I made
        some DIY cables.

Guitar -> Spider amp -> Roland M1000 Mixer -> Behringer DCX2496 digital crossover-> Four QSC PLX3402 proamps [bridge mode] -> two home speakers [DIY line array].

        Works pretty sweet.

Electronics and audio is my main hobby, the guitar
is a side project. While I didn't buy the M1000 for
it's mixing ability, I can play music and mix the guitar
        sound also.
        Crank up the tunes!

DUDE! Those line arrays! You're crazy! Those are Air Motion Transformers (Heil) for tweeters, right? What brand?

Either on the MOP tour or right after. I can't recall exactly.

I have 2 invaders in my DKMGT and dont really notice any sustain issues. One is a really old invader from the 80's and the neck pickup is the more recent model.
