  • Fusion(F1) Model-Anybody???????

OK, I was going to order a custom USA Fusion with just 1 hum that would look almost like the DK2M minus the neck humbucker. But since FMIC raised the prices through the roof, I am out for that idea. So, who here would be hip if Jackson came out with a DK2M minus the neck humbucker and use the 24.75 scale neck and call it an F1 or FUS1 or something? I would be first in line for one in white. What sais you guys Jack.

I would consider one very seriously! Great idea Jack but give me black dots on a maple board, black hardware of course. The sharks are ok but not my bag.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Hey man, I am down with just black dots Judging by the huge responce I am getting, I am guessing this will never happen. It is a shame the lack of love for the short scale and just 1 hum Jack.

I agree Jack. That would be a dynamite combination.
I guess you and I are the only ones that love the short scale Jacksons.

Yep, most want the 25.5 scale at least and then maybe a 1 Hum after that. 1 Hum-short scale guitars are very rare. I will probably have to go custom something for this idea. It is too bad FMIC raised the Jackson prices so much, or it wouldn`t even take a second thought Jack.

Hey, hey, hey.......... I love the short scales too, ya know. This sounds like a short scale DK2LE. I miss mine and hope FATKAT is treating her well.

Yes fellas, good idea, but their is a very limited market(I think) for a 24.75 scale 1 hum shredder, but hey, you never know I also miss my #7 DK2LE and want it back badly. The biggest mistake I ever made was selling that guitar Jack.

Just find a nice Fusion then mod it the way you want it. Fill in the routing for the extra pickups and your set...

Judging by the response I got from my trade ad for my Charvel Fusion, not many people like the short scale. I think it's cool but I'd rather play on a 25.5...
                  I'm angry because you're stupid

If they still made Fusions I might be interested in one but 1H is pretty much my least favorite layout. I guess 1 single would be worse

I could work with that layout.I really want to build a short scale dinky with a Kahler and 22 frets.I have the reverse pointy(SD) USA neck with pearl sharks and the Kahler just need the body.I'm going black and chrome on this one.

If they cam out with one like that I'd be all over it. I'd like to some day have a guitar with a hum in the bridge, and a SC in the neck. And the short scale only sweetens the deal.

oh, I didn't mean with a bridge hum. I meant JUST a single coil in the neck position.

I do like that pickup config though. Have it on my Model 2

That'd be a little too wacky for my tastes, lol. It'd look unique for sure though, lol.
