Are you talking about this? This is still a neck-through, the neck timber goes through the body. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a set thru joint is a set neck with a smoothed out heel, right?

Just because it's not a 3 piece neck with no scarf joint doesn't mean it's not a neck-through
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

                    well,I mean
Jackson star still use one maple "neck"(except scarf joint..IMO it still a one-p neck) to thru the two piece of body, just like what pre fender Jackson USA do.

                    But nowday,
USA is more like 3 piece body
                    then set the neck on

there's some pics can prove in Jackson USA website of custom shop gallery
                    but they alreday remove

If I get wrong, pls correct me too

No, it's a one piece neck that has two sides of a body glued on it.

It's totally true that Jackson USA use different way to make "Neck-Thru body" guitar now

                              Jackson star's construction is here

it's the traditional way that jackson USA done before 02

                              but they already change...
old ones use one neck, combine with two pieces body(see jakcson star webside)
new ones do the body first(3piece body ..alder-maple-alder.or call that do the half neck with body first!) ,then put another half neck set on the body

If u have seen the Jackson USA website before they removed the custom shop gallery , u will know what I mean.

maybe it still call "neck thru body" , but it's different from the Jackson's traditional way of neck thru construction

You're so completely wrong that it's funny!

You do realise lots of us on the forum have pre- and post '02 Jackson guitars, right? Therefore we know that the neck-thru construction hasn't changed.
