  • Looking for some information on a Dinky

I picked up a Dinky from a person from another forum I visit. He stated it was a DINKY and that was about it. I've tried to put the internet to good use but haven't been able to definitely id what Dinky it is. It has 24 frets, HH, EMG-HZ, Non Reversed Head Stock and Shark fin inlays. I leaning towards a MG but haven't found one with a non reverse head stock.

I just reformatted my computer and just got back from a 24 hour coast to coast airplane ride. I will post them when I get my photoshop stuff installed.

      It's has a FR.. I thought it might be a DK1.

I was gonna say DXMG. Perhaps it is, only the neck was replaced with one from a KE3/RR3?

                  That'd make it a 2003.

It is not a stock DXMG CharvelRocker & wilkinsi (they had bound necks + reverse HS)

Body is most likely a DXMG, but that neck...hmmm, could be from a KE3.

He might have sold the DXMG neck as well. Since it was bound, it would have pulled in up to $300. Might explain why he gave you a good deal - he already made out like a bandit.

The body I have and the picture on Jackson website are different. My body style looks more like the DK1.. I will take more pictures at different angles.
