  • NEW GUITAR! Jackson RR-J1EK semi-custom!

Yep, I've been waiting since late March for this sucker to arrive. And I must say, it's been well worth the wait. I've been playing it all day, which explains why I've been late getting pictures to you guys! This guitar is basically just an RR-J1EK with a mahogany body and an EMG 85 on the neck.

BTW, I'm not exactly the best photographer in the world. You might have noticed that. >_>

Oh, and please excuse all the dog hair in the photographs. I would've cleaned it off but I was too busy playing the guitar.

Congratulations! You just can't go wrong with a 24fret RR. If it plays as good as it looks, I'm sure you're a happy, happy man.

He said 85 at the neck.

no, I mistakenly put 85 on the bridge, and he corrected me on that, so I went back and edited that.

Thanks for all your compliments though guys!

sounds beautiful. I'm really digging the warmth of the sound, and I love the Kahler bridge. I put some heavy tension springs into the Kahler, and set up the guitar with 10-52 Dean Markley Blue Steel strings. Action is about an 1/8in. on the low E string and 1/16in. on the high E string. I set it as low as possible without getting fret buzz, which I really cannot stand.
