Jackson RR-what??

I'm pretty certain it's a JS series guitar (24 frets and dual humbuckers). My guess is either a JS35RR (came with a trem), or a JS30RR that was modded to take a trem. It's a very unusual finish (possibly a special run), but 800 Euro is a hell of a lot for a JS series RR.

It's very likely that it is a JS30RR that got its trem off another guitar. There's no telling what shape the trem may be in. The paintjob looks rather good, so it was probably professionally done by a car painter.
So, it's an Indian made guitar with a few mods and a fancy paint job. Not worth 800 by a longshot.Last edited by Sunbane; 10-11-2007, 07:01 AM.

Also notice the string tree (no Jacksons pointy heads come with those), and how the locking nut sits next to the headstock (there is hardly any "space" for it; my modded Charvel M6 looks exactly the same, btw). That's a neck that originally had a standard nut, and it was modified to take the locking nut.

Is that the same guitar what the guy was selling as a : "Jackson RR Custom"?

The paint is definitely not factory. The edges of the fretboard are painted. If the paint was factory, the paint would stop at the seam between the neck and fretboard.

The truth will seem utterly preposterous, and its speaker, a raving lunatic."
