Hell yes!! They are some of the best import Jacksons.91-94 are the best in 85-86 they dropped the professional logo and started using lousy pickups and hardware. They are light years ahead of a JS 30.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Absolutely, there is no comparing the two.

I 2nd this post. Have some ???? myself.

I just got a Jackson Professional Dinky Rev in DMV & too have some questions for you guys, just give me a refresher if you will.

Its been 20yrs since ive owned another Jackson,my 1st one was San Dimas 86 #1010 ,CS built.

          The serial # is 9237XX. Is is a 92?
Who else has one in DMV w/maple?
Explain the paint and lack of primer/basecoat?
Are these somewhat more sought after/more desirable cause of the year/quality?
As far a quality, from what ive read the quality is on par/better than the USA counterparts? (of the era)
It sounds lousy compared to my SD (Custom 5),is this a dark sounding Pup? no midrange or tone, just sounds all same. . bland. I like the neck Pup,has more tone.
Anything other tips info tricks for me,Trem set up tips, Pup suggestion just leave me some feedback.

ADR get an rsguitarworks pot upgrade kit and I think you will like the stock pickups.Mine wail, very clear and articulate not muddy at all.4 of the 5 guitars I have out this week have the kits and they sound killer.

I had a '94 Dinky Reverse in DMV... but the board was rosewood with MOP dots. Here's the only pic I could dig up of it, (very, very crappy pic LOL), but notice the JT580LP '94 trem... it's got a square baseplate.

And here's the only Professional Dinky I've got left... '94 HX (only about 100 made, never in a Jackson catalog). I used to own a red one, too.

                        I...

                        I have 2.

A 97 Profesional Reverse Dinky, and a 94 Profesional XL. Love'em both, but the XL is just a great guitar.

93 XL and a 96 DX1 both great guitars. Both have MOP inlays. The 93 has a 590 schaller trem and the 96 has the 580 but one of the good ones MIJ.

Here are my 2. These dinkys are the most comfortable of any guitar I've ever played.

I believe they're both '94s. I've had the Tiger Flame since I got it new in '95. The Quilt top is a new arrival from a few months ago (it's been cleaned thoroughly since this pic was taken)

                            My Toys:
'94 Dinky Rev. Purple Burst Flame Top
'94 Dinky Rev. Cherry Burst Flame Top
'94 Dinky Rev. Purple Burst Quilt Top
                            '94 Dinky HX in Black
'12 ESP Mii NTB in Black

                              Plus it looks killer
                              Hmm,why jackson stopped making them?
                              Stronger than all!!
