So after months of waiting, I finally got this morning my first (but not last ) Rhoads, a Jackson Stars custom shop

I only sent this form to Ishibashi. I didn't even attached any picture, and the guitar came exactly like I wanted! Even more beautiful than everything I could imagine!
I made the payment in the beginning of August, and Hiroaki told me that it would take 4 to 5 months to build the guitar. Exactly 4 months later, it was ready, and it took only 2 days to arrive from Japan to Finland (and 4 days to get out of the customs office )
I even asked for a small upgrade (MOP logo) 6 weeks after placing the order, while the building had already started, and it's been possible.
The first thing which surprised me when I took the guitar in my hands is it's weight : it's incredibly light!!! My LTD MH-400 (mahogany body) weights tones compaired to it! The neck is also really thin and I love the painted finish feeling (I never liked oiled necks). The hand slides so smoothly on it. But I'll talk more about the playability once I have adjusted it and played it a little bit ...
So now let's see some pics!
I have to apologise in advance for the crappy camera I used, hopefully Santa Clause is bringing me a new one for Christmas so you'll have much better pics and maybe some videos later ...
Of course, those pictures are nowhere near reality. Here's one of a RR-J1T which gives a better idea of what the TRS finish looks like.
And now if you don't mind, I'll leave you for a moment and have some fun with my new baby
Btw, I'm aware she might feel a bit lonely with my MH-400, so I though I might order her two sisters during the next years ...
