Hope it's okay to talk prices....If so, what's a fair price? I checked online with GC and they're asking almost 7... I found one new for 450 at a local shop, carved top, red flame, EMG's, string through with reverse headstock. Plays really nice and ultimaltey I'd say that's the deciding factor but if it's not a steal then I would rather wait.

Well if it has the active EMG pickups not the HZs. One volume and one tone knob.Buy it because that is a very good price. If it is the older model with the third knob and the afterburner system I would pass.

2 knobs - volume / tone... the pickups say EMG on them so I'm not sure about those.

That is one of the newer ones with the active EMGs. That is a good price if it is new they usualy run $700. Buy it.

There was one in musicstop for $699 CAD, in trans red.

It was between that and the dk2t->650 in CS.

Well.. I did it! I put it on lay away today... turned out to be 479.00, it had a very small chip in the paint near the back strap button.... they said that was the reason for the mark down. Anyway, I went ahead with it, I really like the way it plays and the sound of the EMG's, and the trans red flame top looks cool. I'll post pics when I pay it off in a couple of weeks. The trick is now to make my wife believe that I've had it for years and she just never noticed it!

Let me know how that works out. I'd love to do that but I have a few obstacles to work around.
1. She sees the Paypal payments.
2. She works from home and sees UPS directly or sees a big box sitting at the back gate when she takes the dogs out.
3. If I bring one home it would be suspicous of me to go the basement with the dogs greeting me. :ROTF:
