Wow! Lots of DK2Ms! Just wondering...how consistent are they in quality? Are they all equally good?

NO problems whatsoever. I've had problems with Pots on my DK2's. And my DKGC36 has severe neck issues. My DR3 had a bad toggle switch. All has been replaced with Switchcraft parts (Thank God I live 2 miles from the Switchcraft Factory)

Looks like you should try to find a one or two of the bengal finish DK2M's for your collection.

                  Nice collection, regardless!

That one is the infamous Musician"s Friend DK2M with the Red Ghost Flame paint job. I got mine via e-bay & it included a Jackson hard shell case

I'm planning on adding 2-1960B cabs to have 2 full stacks. Contrary to popular believe, Mode Fours are intense. I love them because if I have to play in a band that does "everything" then I have an amp that does it, with 350 WATTS behind it. These amps cut through anything & everything. The drummer in my band hates them because he's so used to being the loudest one in the band, and then I come along with these.

Stop that your making my DK2M gas worse.

That Crimson Swirl looks especially nice....

                          They all look nice though...

Don't take this the wrong way, but why do want so many of the same type of guitar? Even if you just love that particular body style wouldn't you like a Soloist? Or even a DK2S?

Ok here is the reason for so many DK2M's
The Black & Inferno Red are Tuned to Dropped D (Black one is the Backup)

The White & Crimson Swirl are Tuned to standard tuning (White one is the Backup)

My band plays out a lot so, I need things to go smoothly.

The DK2's are for playing with corporate/wedding bands or studio work where I need to have a single coil sound.
                              The DR3 stays home.
The DKGC36 Also stays home, due to quality issues with the neck. Fender/Jackson is sending a replacement neck for that one.
