a: 3 way toggle vs. 3 way blade = no price difference
b: white binding vs. black binding = no price difference
c: no inlays vs. sharkfins = LOWER cost
OR
d: 10 sharkfin inlays vs. 1 12th fret inlay = LOWER cost
Ah yes, making it to Phils proto, if anything would have cost the same, if not LESS both material wise and production wise. So again, why couldnt they make it like his? I cant wait to hear this one...

But the black binding again?
I still think that it kicks much ass,,,it just would have been perfect for me if the binding was white that's all.
I'll probably end up getting one anyway,,,but maybe if we complain enough,,they'll import ones with slightly different specs!!!

Regardless, I know Im wasting my breath... but I guess its just brand loyalty frustration. I truly want Jackson to come out with kick ass stuff that could put them back on the map. I know that Jacksons are the only guitars for me... and if they would just do something right for once and get new people in the door, Im sure many more would feel that way too.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... YOU COULD GET A USA MADE OF HIS GUITAR.... THE CHECK YOU WOULD WRITE MIGHT BE A LITTLE LARGER THAN YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO BE...PERMISSION FEE'S, ROYALTY FEE'S...IT COULD HAPPEN
IMHO, JACKSON DID A HELL OF A JOB. I LIKED IT SO MUCH I AM GETTING THE BLACK/SILVER ONE....WHEN THEY ARE AVAIL.Jackson KV2T Black Ghost Flames with EMG's

I think it has alot to do with tooling myself. Obviously they're setup for the moto inlays, mop mightn't cost much more, but to work with it damn well would. Again with the black binding/rr24 neck thing. I like the black binding on the rr24's, and it suits these too in some ways. Also, my mate actually prefers the blade to the toggle, and when I seen how it was layed out, I thought it was to stop accidental flicks without the volume knob there to stop them.

Yes I just noticed the Black has silver inlays...
The RR24 neck blank comment makes perfect sense...
Though I find the battery box would be useless for me as I prefer passives now....
Though it's way easier than using the cavity, like my Rans had...

I like the shape, but that's not a cutaway, it's quite obviously an add-on. The black binding doesn't bother me, but the shitty MOTO inlays do. They should have left them off entirely, if they weren't going to use MOP. The colour options are pretty fucking boring too if you ask me. Red/black, white/black, and black/silver? Fucking yawn. Where's the camo?

looks good. i like blades - and prefer them to toggles tbh. its phils guitar so noone can really complain if they don't like that.
red with black binding is nice - wit should be on more models. again phil probably chose the colours he liked so u can't complain if u think they're boring.
i like the knob placement idea - perhaps try it on other guitars
the double v look is good i think - nice to see something different
black binding suits the guitar and the rr24 i think, looks much better than white with those colours. who cares if u can't see it properly - it covers up the fre ends well, and i don't use white dots as a guide anyway. besides if u spend all ur time looking at ur fretboard - get some stage presence!! interact with ur audience!! and practice more!

Plus I bet that the wood is different from the RR24 as well.
I don't really think it'd be different, Jackson is after all built mostly on alder/maple...
zeegler - MOP is so not going to happen on any imports (other than J1 Stars stuff)...
The whole thing just seems very Razorback V to me. Well, something new is better than nothing new, maybe next time around they'll get it more to everyone's liking
