I think I've made my point. I'm getting sick of putting up with Jackson's little games like this. Always trying to encourage USA sales. No other company does shit like this.

The Alexi also has an EMG HZ, which is (on a large scale) pretty big money saver for ESP, plus Korean construction again.

Prestige ibanez does not mean japan, and does not mean good! The amount I see with horrible finishing/fretboards/fretwork proves that. The higher ones are nice...but usa jackson money and not close to those, seriously. LTD's are nowhere near the same league either, maybe against regular imports but not the high end imports. Even an average rr5 is way out infront of their norm stuff. If you put black binding on that ltd would it matter? Its still a grotesque impersonation of a real guitar, the tackiness on those things is disgusting.
Seriously how hard is it to get white binding installed if its the bee in your bonnet? The channel is precut, you dont even have to clear over it if you dont want to.

with regards to binding. i think u guys are spending far too much time on such an insignificant part of a guitar, which, in the case of an rr24 or pd u hardly notice. it just feels and looks nicer compared to just bare wood and fret ends, which is what is for pretty much. who gived a fuck beyond that? i mean seriously? complain abou the hardware or the construction or build issues but not the binding colour. it really makes no difference to ur playing experience...

tbf mate, a single hum rr looks fucking cool anyways (and certainly white/black rr 24 with black binding looks sexy as fuck), at least 80 percent of ur audience wil be uneducated on the matter, and 99.9 percent don't have hawks eyes or torches to see u when ur playing, and certainly won't be watching u specifically to see ur binding, which i'm led to believe tends to be partially obscured by the fact u (in theory and indeed hopefully) should be playing ur guitar, which would inolve having ur hand on the neck in some place, thus covering the binding anyway. i'm also led to believe that most gigs tend to have low lighting levels, and any binding will be obsured by the dark, or a completely different colour to what it is normally due to any lighting effects.
anyways, an rr 24 u should be able to pickup up new around 800. i wouldn't think a pd would cost much more, but then being in the uk, we don't get decent jacksons above 400 quid generally, so i could be wrong.

None of it really make a difference to playing experience...
But still, the black fret board and white binding is what allot of people like about Jackson, regardless of your opinion.
