I want a DK1 with 24 frets and HSS setup at the same time. I think there are a few numbers of them out there.

And I wonder where Jackson got the idea to do this? As soon as I finished this guitar, I said to myself that in a year there will be an RR-M. Dont think Im tooting my own horn or anything... but we all know the Jackson guys cruise the boards, and with the great response this guitar got from you guys, Im not at all surprised theres one coming out. Hell, they didnt even have to build one to see what it would look like!

Yeah, kind of like my inversed EVH I did awhile back and surprise surprise, look at what Eddie's new toy is on his site Seriously, this should be pretty cool, lets just hope they do two pickups on this one.

Here's one of the LPs with Floyd.

Actually they 'started' back in 1989 and only made them for one year. LP from the factory with a floyd (note the Gibson logo on the floyd):

That would be AMAZING!

I'm only afraid of one thing about this RR24M rumor, it's that it would actually be a cheap RX10D or RR3 with bolt-on DK2M neck instead of the neck-thru construction and high end quality of the RR24

I think it'll look good, at least they are doing something after the success of the DK2M.

TBH, i`m surprised no-ones doing mockups of RR24M`s, to show Jackson what the community wants. Everyone`ll bitch when it comes out with `undesirable` features, and `if only it had....`, why`s no one showing them what they`d like to see, maybe Jackson will take note, and surprise us for once

Actually, there were some 24 fret HSS ones during the tranformation era from the HSS 22 to HH 24. So they were kinda unofficial models. Or something like that, as far as I know.
