help with identification

A friend of mine wants to sell this Jackson, but its been "customised" quite badly; resprayed, neck pickup changed from SM to other, no pickup frames and switch type changed from blade to toggle.

my question is please, can someone identify the brand? i think its a DMK2?

There are lots of threads about it.

I don't think that looks bad, at all. I love the single volume and toggle switch idea. However, I do prefer the pickup rings.

Hmmm...does Alvin want to mod one for himself????
