Hello.
I bought this Jackson a while ago but the guy it bought it from couldn't tell me what modell this guitar is.
It is made in Japan and there is no Jackson logo on the neck plate or on the tuning machines.
I read already this post http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/show...highlight=m213
but I am still not that convinced that this truly is the DX10D.
The serial number on the neck plate is: 99040184 so I guess it was made in april 1999. Or is this a false conclusion?
It really looks like a DX10D though all the pictures I have seen so far from the Dinky you can still buy, have Duncan Designed pickups and it says that they are produced in Japan. Mine was too, because I also removed the "Made in Japan" sticker.
Supposingly my guitar was produced in 1999...did they produce in Japan first, than in India (2000-2001), and then in Japan again?
The pickups of this Jackson are a M213 and a M214 (Probably Armstrongs). This doesnt match the new modell of the DX10D which is provided with Seymour Duncans. So did they change their pickup set up during the year of production?
So many questions, I hope someone is willing to answer ;-)
Thank you in advance!
