Just picked up a guitar off EBay and I can't find it in the scans. Seller said he bought it new from Musician's Friend in 2001. It's a bolt-on with 2 hums. Think it came standard with EMG-HZ but the bridge one has been swapped out for a Duncan Distortion. Has a JT-580 LP, bound neck and what seems like MOP sharkies. Any ideas? At work so I can't post pics yet. Thinking it is either a parts mutt or a MF special run.

Number of frets? Headstock direction? Sounds like a DXMG to me, which makes the Sharkies MOTO.

Ser # is 01061828. Thinking it's an Indian make. If it's MOTO, they did a hell of a job.

Tell you what. Has a great neck, heavy body. Don't care where it's made. Looks and plays killer.

I thought DXMG had a reverse headstock? This has a standard.

They do... possibly a DK2 neck on it. Who knows... hard to say without pics!

It's a parts mutt. I know Jackson never puts a guitar with a chrome hardware neck on a black hardware body. Thing is nice though with the raised 3D flames.
