That's what I was thinking of putting in mine. The Duncan Distortion sounds so nice in there now. I want to get some hot "rails" pickups to replace the single coils. I think that's the combo I want to shoot for.

I think what he meant was that they are Duncan "Designed" pickups not REAL Duncans.

I've put Seymour Duncans in all my guitars (apart from my Epi Black Beauty) as they're so good. Custom, Custom 5, Jazz, JB, Hot Rails - they all rock. What is it exactly you have in that guitar?
You could do a lot worse than trying a JB or Custom in the bridge, with Cool Rails in the middle and Hot Rails in the neck.
They are Duncan designed. I don't mind them at all, they sound really good. But I would like to get a similar tone as my San Dimas does and it's got Dimarzios in it (Tone Zone-Fast Track-Chopper) After playing this guitar for a couple of weeks though, I may just decide to leave them alone. I kinda like the different sound and having two guitars with distinctly different tones may come in handy. Playing them through my Half Stack, the San Dimas has a much warmer tone with lots of low end (probably mostly due to the mahogony body) while the BOF just has the peal your face off crunchy kinda metal tone... I dunno, it'll be awhile before I do anything to it so I'll have plenty of time to decide.
