How does the distortion fare in that anyways? I was thinking about giving one a go in mine. My brother has a Dimebucker in his Dean, and I cant say I was very impressed with it.

I originally had this guitar setup for hardrock etc and metal, jb was a no brainer but dulled on me, so I chucked in the dimebucker for extra...everything. Since getting my jsx I'm liking less then massive output humbuckers, the distortion I had laying around sounds almost perfect in it! Just needs a little more bass like the custom, but has a nicer midrange then it for rock stuff.

That said its now my shredstick so I wanna try active pickups in it again so I can nail stuff I was playing on my old schecter (emg707's).
