I'm not sure what color hardware to use. I feel like Black or Chrome would look awesome. I think Gold would look odd on this guitar.
I have a few pickups in mind:
-Duncan SH4 (black)
-Duncan SH15 (black)
-DiMarzio X2N (white)
Actually, I am going to use a Roller Bridge w/ fine tuning tailpiece - I love those. I have that setup on my BC Rich.

What method did you use to glue(what type) and clamp the veneer to the top?
I used Titebond II glue. No clamp, I just put the guitar facedown and puts weights on it's back.
Here's the site I used to get directions: http://www.projectguitar.com/tut/veneer.htm

Man, that's a sweet Kelly. I think a DXMG neck and black hardware would compliment that axe perfectly. Good job, bro!

This guitar cost me a total of $260. $200 for the PS6 guitar (USED) and $60 for veneer, stain, wood glue, wood filler, sand paper, and laquer spray cans. If this were a production model, I'd be willing to spend about $600 on it.
Eventually I'll add a DK2 neck and a new pickup. For now, the Jackson J70 pickup sounds fine.
