  • Can anyone help me figure out what model Jackson Professional this is?

    Hi all!

This is my first post to the forum. I found this place while searching for information on my Jackson Professional

Can any body tell what this is from this photo?

It looks most like a Stealth, but with a neck HB.

Also, I wonder what kind of wood it is.

yea, it is a Stealth. I can't just what model off hand, but they were available in different configurations. For example, the Stealth HX had 3 hums (IIRC)

It's just what you said, a Stealth with a neck HB. Body is probably basswood.

        Thanks Guys!

I can't seem to find a pic of the Stealth with this pickup config in the catalog scans.

I've seen HSS with a Floyd and HHH with a fixed bridge, but never HSH with a Floyd.

Probably somebody added the HB somewhere along the way.

I'll have to look for more pics, that's the only one I have available from here.

I'll try and get the serial number tonight. Hopefully that can at least tell us the year.

I replaced both of the HBs, and I don't remember any routing in the neck pup cavity.

I suppose they could have repainted the whole body afterwards, but this looks like a stock color. I know I've seen a Jackson Professional Kelly with the same finish.

I'll take a look in there again though. I think I might even have some pics from when I replace the HB.

                        You're right. I apologize - my mistake.

                          Cool, Thanks!

Do you know what year? Was it ever published in a catalog?

I can't seem to find anything on that one.

I'll have to look at the serial number tonight.

Aha! I found it in the 1997 catalog

If I read it right, I have the Cobalt Blue Satin finish (hard to see in that picture, but that's what it is), which means an Ash body. Cool.

                            Thanks All!

Now I need to get back to working on the pickups in my Charvel Model 4....

JACKSON JSX 94 in the 1994 JACKSON IMPORT catalog. Very close/similar. Even the dots but the pickups and knobs are better on yours.

Also, the JACKSON 94 guitars had/have 24 frets, JSX , JDR and JDX.
