    fretboard Jackson makes beside the Phil Collen signature model? I stopped by GC and notice the DK2M had a real dark maple neck. If I had the cash I would have pulled the trigger... I rather have A H/S/S/ or a H/S/H...

      If you can get a Dinky body with HSS or HSH config, buy a DK2M and pinch the neck of off it.

        As mentioned, buy it and swap the neck to some other Jackson 24 fret body with the pickup combo you want.

        You could also install push/pull pots to split the humbuckers giving you single coil tones.
