How does it (the guitar, not the box) compare to your USA made Jackson?

It has a totally different feel. This is the first maple fretboard that I have had. I love the feel of the painted neck and ebony of my soloist, but i really am liking the maple also.

The fit and finish on the dinky are great and it sounds great too. I am thinking about putting an OFR in it though.

Overall, it is a great guitar but not quite on par with the soloist.

Yep. A soloist really spoils you.

I am tempted by the orange/white bengal special edition DK2M's, but I doubt it would get much play from my Bengal Soloist.

I love the bengal DK2M's. If I could have found one locally, I might have bought one of those instead of a Snow White DK2M.

Regardless, that is a great-looking guitar!
