  • Help me identify this Jackson

I got to quit going to Pawn Shops but I saw a
Strat styled Jackson Guitar Trans Green Color with 2 Duncan designed
Humbucker Pickups(did not have any rings around them)
    maybe somebody replaced the originals
Has a Jackson licensed Trem not Black Not Chrome but
matted Silver Color the thing it has a three position
toggle switch not a blade between the volume and
Tone Knobs I know a picture would help but I did
not have one So Give me your best info
All is said on the reversed head was Jackson with the R
above the logo no professional and anything after it

    Thanks
    charles

Yes, they are made in Japan.
The serial numbers are sequential. They do not indicate the year of their production in their schema.

Unbolt the neck... chances are good you will find a production date stamped on there somewhere.
Or you could post the whole serial number here and see if Ron (Racerx) chimes in.
        He tracks that shit.

Thanks for the info Now I gotta Decide if I want to invest 175$ in it Its Missing The 3 locks and screws on the top lock and the usual tremalo Bar So nothing that a person would have troublle to find. it also has a couple of gashes it was listed at 199 and I offered him 150 he countered 175 + Tax so I did the No and walk out trick but he did not stop me. Now That I know more about it Monday I'll probally offer him 175 out the Door and I bet he Takes it. I know I should not buy it but it sounded sooo Good and that Neck was like Melted Butter.

Then My 90's/80's guitar collection will be complete I will have a Kramer, Fender, Charvel, Jackson, Ibanez and Peavey. all Super Strats from that Era and Epiphone LP Custom (2007)

                  I'd guess on early 1998.

                      Looks nice.

Man that dude was persistent for a measley $14.44 in tax. Surprised he didn't charge you extra for the strings.

I maybe able to split the coils has anyone played around with that
pickup configuration by doing the mod to split the Pickups?
