My bad its a DK2 what was I thinking.
Pickup cavities have sheilding paint which you don't see on reg guitars.
Neck pocket does have NAMM in pencil but 11/2004 date so I guess its a 2004

All cleaned,set up and given a test drive sounds great,the DD's don't sound half bad.
It needs an RS kit but all in all a great guitar.
Not a nick or flaw in the paint absolutly mint which is remarkable for hanging in the store for 4 years.

Every Jackson Ive ever seen has pickup sheilding paint.

Good luck with it, as long as youre happy thats what matters. I always wanted to pick one up back when MF was blowing them out for like $350... I should have.

My local shop has one of those and they want 399 for it.

Rob the sheilding paint is thicker than the usual is what I was meaning.
I got it for $400 out the door JetFixxxer which I thought was quite fair.
I think some had the flames on the back too did they not?
