• Jackson RR3-CS

Just picked this one up used at Guitar Center. Crimson Swirl. Mint condition. What do you all think of $519 for the price?

I'd post a pic, but apparently I'm not allowed to post attachments.

Host it on Imageshack, then just use the link from there with around it.

Just got done giving it the treatment. I searched through my stash of spare pickups and found an X2N and an Air Norton to drop in. Put on a fresh set of Boomers and did a quick neck setup. Nice axe! The X2N and Norton are the perfect pickups for this guitar.

        Let's see if this works...

Good score. All you need to do is relocate the front strap pin thru or in front of the neckplate, or is the balance OK?

The balance is fine...its just above the neckplate.

To those out there who know the Jackson models better, what does "CS" stand for? I'm doubting "custom shop." The guitar seems to have the same features as the Pro RR3.

I seem to be on some guitar obsession. The internal electronics have now all been upgraded to RS guitarworks pots and caps, heavier guage wiring, and a Planet Waves output jack.

After having ordered the parts for my Warmoth Strat, I'm now I'm considering a Warmoth scalloped neck for the RR3. Any thoughts on this?
